Hudson Headwaters 340B is excited to share the fourth installment of our Webinar Series to be hosted on Wednesday, August 18th at 3pm. The one hour session is free to attendees. Below is a full outline of the webinar topic, full presenter bio, and the remaining sessions in our series.
The August presentation, titled, “The Latest Developments in the Fight to Restore the 340B Program” will focus on latest threats and what is to come for the 340B program. Over a year has passed since drug manufacturers first threatened to stop shipping 340B program priced drugs to covered entities’ contract pharmacies. With seven manufacturers following through on that threat, more than a dozen court cases and similar proceedings have been launched, and HRSA and HHS have taken the steps to defend the program. This session discusses the status of those disputes, what comes next, and what else is on the horizon.
Meet Our Presenter: Jason Reddish!
Jason Reddish is a Partner in the firm’s Federal Grants and Health Law practice groups. He focuses his practice on the federal 340B drug discount program and the complex legal and compliance issues facing safety net providers, pharmacies, and other 340B program stakeholders. Mr. Reddish began his career representing pharmaceutical manufacturers before finding his passion helping 340B program covered entities, including disproportionate share hospitals, Federally Qualified Health Centers, Ryan White HIV/AIDS clinics, and other grantees navigating the 340B program.
In addition to providing guidance on 340B program issues, Mr. Reddish helps safety net providers, pharmacies, and other stakeholders by negotiating and reviewing contracts relating to the provision of pharmacy and professional services. He has worked on dozens of 340B program contract pharmacy and pharmacy services agreements and serves as an authority on 340B program contract pharmacies, including transactional, operational, and compliance concerns.
Mr. Reddish is committed to ensuring that safety net providers are able to stretch their limited resources to best serve their vulnerable patient populations.
