The 340B Coalition will be celebrating their 25th annual Summer Conference virtually this July giving attendees the ability to live stream sessions, watch on-demand, and network with attendees and exhibitors in the virtual exhibit hall. The conference will be spread over five half-days across two weeks on July 20-22 and July 27-28, 2021.
Per the official conference website, “the 340B Coalition Summer Conference will provide you with all the information you need to adapt to these important developments and maintain a fully compliant 340B program for your hospital, health center, or clinic. The conference will feature experts from across the country and from the halls of government, providing you with the latest intelligence and best practices so you can continue to improve the operation of your 340B programs.” The Coalition is encouraging registration for a variety of hot topics including drug company updates, operations and compliance, federal and state activity, COVID-19, and 340B research.
Attendees can expect to hear from a variety of industry leaders and educational presenters including keynote speaker, Dr. Syra Madad. Dr. Madad is one of the nation’s leading epidemiologists and leader in public health and special pathogen preparedness and response. She is Senior Director, System-wide Special Pathogens Program at New York City Health + Hospitals. Other speakers of note include Jason Reddish from Feldesman Tucker Leifer Fidell, Sue Veer of Carolina Health Centers, Michelle Fox of Apexus, and Colleen Meiman of State Associations of Community Health Centers, who have all graciously given their time to the Hudson Headwaters 340B monthly webinar series outside of this conference schedule. Stephanie Willis, Marketing Specialist on the Hudson Headwaters 340B team will be presenting during Track 1: 340B Lessons From the Field (Part 6). The Lessons From the Field sessions are designed for covered entities to hear vendors’ perspectives and lessons learned from working with clients on 340B issues. Stephanie’s presentation is titled, “340B Audit Preparation: Where Optimization and Compliance Meet” and will cover a variety of tools and tricks for optimizing an entity’s 340B program through tools and guidance that is already in place for completing audits. Her presentation will be included during the 3-3:50pm time slot on July 28th, 2021 and will be shared both live and later on-demand.
The Hudson Headwaters 340B team is excited to be involved in this summer’s annual meeting through the exhibit hall and speaker presentation opportunities.
